Richard and Niki Barlow are passionate about people and spend their days encouraging and uplifting others.

Richard and Niki Barlow live in Loveland, Colorado where they enjoy beautiful sunsets, snowy mountaintops, and hot tea by the fireplace. They love a variety of musical styles but cannot carry a tune! Warm summer nights touring on their motorcycle, traveling extensively, and hanging out with family including seven grandchildren are their favorite past times. Parenting including eight years foster care experience.

Richard received his undergraduate certificate in Biblical Studies from Colorado Christian University. He pastored at an Evangelical Free Church for 10 years before moving his ministry to full time outreach after a severe motorcycle accident. Richard is certified in Prepare/Enrich premarital counseling and is a wedding officiant. As a life coach, he enjoys mentoring one on one.

Fifteen years ago, Niki Barlow and her youngest child waited in a hotel while two older children visited universities. She heard God say, “write”. After completing one horrible manuscript, she attended writers’ conferences, took online classes, and studied the art of writing. When foster children entered her life, she put aside fiction and wrote devotionals from her experience. God, in His perfect timing, allowed Niki to return to fiction and finish the book.
Her passion for people and love of God inspire her writings. No stranger to unexpected challenges, discouragement, brokenness, and adversities, Niki has found through God’s grace true joy. She has experienced first-hand God’s plan to overcome and redeem even when it did not appear possible. She enjoys helping others see God’s redemptive plan, even in the darkest moments.
